invitation sent and accepted to be an administrator but not processed

    Hi, I sent an invitation to an email id to be an administrator. He accepted the invitation 3 days ago but the status shows waiting. Please accept this invitation and make him an administrator.

    I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide the usernames for this person if he or she is a WordPress.com blogger? If he or she does not have a username account yet please post the email address. The software will redact ie. HIDE the email address so only Staff can see it. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    Hi there!

    Can you have the user you invited follow up on this thread? It would be helpful to know what did happen when they clicked the “Accept Invitation” button in the email.

    If their browser was logged into another user account when they clicked the button, that may be why it didn’t work. Can you have them try logging all accounts out of WordPress.com and then clicking the button?
