Invite People – ‘invalid email’

    Hey
    I’ve set my privacy settings to ‘private’. I’ve succesfully invited a person to become an email-follower. This friend of mine has now deleted his user and I want to re-invite him, but the site keeps saying ‘invalid email’, whenever I enter his email.
    What can I do to invite someone who has already been invited before?

    Hi there,

    If he deleted his WordPress.com account fewer than 30 days ago, it means that email has not been removed from our system yet, and you won’t be able to issue an invitation or create a new account with that email yet.

    So either you’ll need to use a different email to invite him, or he’ll need to reply to the account closure email we sent him so we can either manually delete his email from our system or re-open his account.
