  I am new to WordPress. I began a blog that I only want a few people to be able to read. Each week I make a new entry. I am trying to set the settings where each time I update my blog (once a week) that the people I want to make it available to receive an automatic link to read the new entry. Is this even possible? Or do I have to keep sending them invites each week?

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com is already set up to notify people of new posts, but they control that, not you. In order to receive those notifications those people will need to sign up to email notifications for new posts on your site. They don’t need to create WordPress.com accounts to do so.

  You can invite someone to follow your site at My Site ->People ->Add, but someone will only start receiving email notifications of your posts if they accept that invitation.
