  Invites are blocked on my account and I can’t verify my email address because the account settings won’t let me save changes.

  1. First try accessing your account settings directly at wordpress.com/me/account and attempt to save your email address from there instead of through the regular settings.
  2. Check your spam/junk folder for any verification emails that may have already been sent — sometimes they get filtered.
