inviting administrators

  After I have invited someone to be administrator, do they have to create a new wordpress account in order to accept the invitation, or can they just join the one I’ve already created?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  They need to have their own WordPress.com user account.

  And they should be logged into their account before they click the invitation link.
