Inviting followers

  How do I invite people who do not have a wordpress account or are on social media? I don’t want everyone to read my blog, just those people who belong to the St. Vincent Society. I’ve tried putting their e-mail addresses under the invitation section, but those who received the invitation had to sign up for a wordpress account.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  In order to view a private WordPress.com blog, your readers will need to create a Wordress.com account. The system doesn’t know who they are if they are not logged into an account.
