    Last year i was charged in March. This year i’ll be charged in february. You are not respecting the contract. It should be for one year,

    We auto renew upgrades 30 days before their expiration date. Why? Since letting a domain expire means you may not be able to get it back in the future, we want to ensure that everything is taken care of in advance. We do send out notification emails before charging your card, as we try not to surprise anyone.

    You can turn off auto-renew from the “My Upgrades” page:

    Please note that your actual expiration date is still exactly one year from the date of your original purchase and is extended one year from that date no matter when you actually renew. You are not cheated out of any time on your upgrade.
