  The invoice system will start in October in Japan,
  Is your company planning to comply with the new system?
  If you are already registered as a qualified invoicing company, we would like to know your registration number.

  If you are not a Japanese company and do not need to support the system, we would appreciate it if you could let us know.

  Hi again!

  So I just heard back (that was fast!). It turns out we already applied for registration in this new Japanese invoicing system a while ago, and we’re waiting for our registration number. We don’t have an ETA, as it depends on when the authorities get back to us, but we will comply with the new system.
