ios app won’t connect to shelf-hosted sites

    Hi, I’m getting two error s when trying to connect to my self-hosted sites.

    First, it says there’s no valid wordpress site even though I’m currently logged in from a browser on a computer. Regular computer access works just fine.

    Second, I run into the error that it can’t find the xml-rpc.

    All of the sites are hosted as subdomains to my main domain; for example myWPsite.myDomain.com. I’ve gone through and made sure everything is updated – site and app – and still no luck.

    Hi there,

    What is the exact URL of the site you’re trying to connect to the app?

    I take it you’re not using the Jetpack plugin on the site, correct? (Jetpack is not required to use the mobile apps, but it does make it easier, as all self-hosted sites connected to your WordPress.com account via Jetpack will appear in the app automatically if you log in with your WordPress.com username there.)
