IP Address for this site

  ip address for wordpress.com blog

  I’ve purchased a domain upgrade however this does not allow me to keep my email address intact. My domain registrar has recommended that I move forward with CNAME records and therefore require my blogs IP Address. How do I find out what my blogs IP Address is?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I see you’ve already filled in the e-mail MX record at https://theimmigrationconsulttant.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=theimmigrationconsultant.co.nz

  This should be enough to make e-mail work, does it work for you?

  No – the email is really not a proper mail box only a redirect. So it goes to the domain provider and then does not find the mail box. The domain provider has requested us to find out what the IP address is for our wordpress blog? This way we can point the CNAME and the A record to WordPress and leave the domain pointing to the domain provider? Any other suggestions or can you assist with the info?

  A WordPress.com blog does not have an individual IP address. Therefore it’s not possible to map the domain to your WordPress.com blog unless you also point the nameservers to us. Since the MX record is set on your domain it forwards e-mail to your domain registrar where they need to handle it further by attaching your (co.nz) domain to a mailbox.

  Did you request the proper MX records at your domain registrar?
