hi!
im trying to get my doamin host to point to my blog.
it is not possible for me to change nameservers – i hav an .dk domain.
my host asks me for the specific IP-adress for hin to point to my blog.
can anybody help me with this? otherwise i can not get upgrade to mapping??

What’s your .dk domain address? This way we can create a zone record, in order for you to map the domain to your WordPress.com

I added a new DNS Zone record for your domain. This change may take a little while to be fully effective. Could you give it some time then try updating the name servers again?

Next, go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.

Please take a look at the following guide before going through the process.

i have tryed again. do it need more time to be effective, what you did with Zone record?
but it still do not work.
i still get the page that tells me to change nameservers.
this is not possible for me as my host tells me it´s not possible on an .dk domain.
they ask me for specific IP-address for my blog, for them to point (map?) to my blog.
so pls; i think i need some more help :-)

I don’t think that WordPress.COM is directly supporting using IP addresses anymore but there should be some sort of a workaround – I have flagged this for staff attention to help you

but is this IP for nameservers.
becuase it doesn´t change anything for me – it is not possible for my host to change nameservers for .dk domain!
they ask for specific IP-Address for my site on WordPress.
or if possible to make URL-Forward (301)??

We actually have a few hundred .dk domains mapped here who were able to change their nameservers. I recommend asking your registrar again.

We can only support mapping via nameserver.
