    You are posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and you don’t have any sites hosted with us.

    To use that domain on WordPress.com, you will first have to create a new site with us at https://wordpress.com/start/site/. Then you will need to upgrade that site to a paid plan so you can add our domain mapping upgrade to connect the domain. WordPress.com sites don’t have unique IPs, and we instead recommend that you point the domain’s name servers to us.

    If you already have a site at that domain, it was built using the open source WordPress software made by the community on WordPress.org. In that case your site has nothing to do with us, and you need to instead point the name servers or the IP address at the hosting provider on whose servers you built that site.
