  Hi,

  I made my website with the aid of wix.com. I almost spent $300 for building my website. Now that my website is completed, I realised that no one can connect to my website in Iran without using VPN. I raised the issue with Wix, and I was told Iran with four other countries are on their blacklist.
  I just wanted to know, if I make my website by using WordPress services, can people from Iran connect to the website without using VPN?

  I will be grateful if you clarify this issue for me.

  Hi there,

  We do not block access to WordPress.com from any countries. However, we have no control over whether or not a particular country blocks access to sites on our servers, so if the government of Iran blocks people from accessing your site, or WordPress.com as a whole, a VPN or a TOR browser would be the only way to access it.
