Is Add Media link not in basic free wordpress? I can't find it f

  On a MAC the slideshow instructions don’t seems to work. I can’t find ‘Add Media’ is this because I have a basic free
  account?

  I’ve followed the instructions on the ‘get flashy’ section and it’s the ‘Add Media’ link I can’t find.
