  Hi there,

  That’s entirely up to you. Most people prefer to move the domain only later, though, so the current site on the domain continues working normally until the new site is ready.

  That said, even if you transfer the domain now, at the start, your current site will remain online for the time being, as we don’t automatically point the domain to our servers the moment it’s transferred. So you can also transfer the domain right away, but leave it pointed at your old host for now, only switching it to point to us later.
