Is it possible to choose which posts will appear on the front page when the option with the latest p

  Can I select which posts will be visible on the front page and not the latest. Some I may don’t want to appear at all.

  If I choose the fixed page option can I select only one category to appear on the “Posts” page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, only one category. And on most themes, these category pages do not display exactly the same as a typical posts page. They may have a more limited layout.
