Is it possible to have a forum plugin?

Hi,
I need to have a forum in my weblog. I know in wordpress.com we cannot have plugins unless the support team provide it in the website, so I am writing to request forum plugin for wordpress.com since it can dramatically increase weblog followers and helps interaction between readers and having loyal virtual friends.
