Is it possible to map a route in my domain to wordpress?
-
Hi,
I have a domain and would like to know if the following scenario is possible:
I have a ‘example.com/blog’ domain which redirects to my wordpress URL. Is it possible to have it so instead my domain (only at the /blog route!) would map to my wordpress URL, for example ‘example.com/blog/2019/05/28/my-blog-post’ ?
Thank you
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
I want to make sure that I’ve understood the question correctly before giving a reply. You’d like to set things up so that
yourdomain.comredirects to an individual post likeyourdomain.com/blog/2019/05/28/my-blog-post? -
Hi,
Thanks for your response. Not exactly. What I mean is that I’d like my
domain.com/blogto direct to my WordPress domain (at the moment I’m just using a free oneblueprintchris.wordpress.com) but instead of the URL in the address bar changing to the WordPress URL, my domain stays intact at the top.So for example:
domain.com/blog->blueprintchris.wordpress.com
domain.com/blog/2019/05/28/my-blog-post->blueprintchris.wordpress.com/2019/05/28/my-blog-post
domain.com/blog/categories/gaming->blueprintchris.wordpress.com/categories/gamingI hope that is clear enough this time.
Many thanks

Hi there,
To achieve what you’re describing you’ll need to map your domain to your WordPress.com site. However, mapping to a domain’s subdirectory is not supported on WordPress.com. You can only map it to a subdomain (e.g. blog.domain.com). You can read more about that and how to set it up here:

Hi,
Thanks for this. What is the minimum paid subscription tier that allows this feature?

Hi Chris,
You’ll need at least our Personal Plan in order to map a subdomain.
