Is it possible to send only a part of the texts with the 'follow blog' widget?

  Hello WordPress team! I have the ‘follow blog’ widget and my followers receive all my posts by mail. However, I would like them to receive only a small part of the post and an URL to read more on my blog. Is it possible to do that with this widget? Are there other widgets that allow people to follow my blog via e-mail avaiable? Thanks a lot for your help!

  Yes. At Settings > Reading, scroll down to “For each article in a feed, show…” and select “Summary.”

  Are there other widgets that allow people to follow my blog via e-mail avaiable?

  Not that I know of.

  You don’t modify the widget to send summaries instead of full posts to email subscribers. The required change is at the Reading Settings page.
