Is it possible to sign up for 3 or 6 months to the paid sites to find out if it is a good fit?

  I am wanting to start a blog spot that will be monetarily accepted. Not sure which one is best and would like to try one out for 3 months to find out if it is a good fit before paying for a full year.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com upgrades and plans are only available for year long purchases. However, we have a 30 day refund window for everything but domain registrations (that window is 48 hours), to try things out and see if WordPress.com is a fit for you.

  Thank you. Is there a place I can go to find out about the monetary part of the subscriptions? Do you pick the advertisers or can I??
