Is my WordPress blog-article being CENSORED?

    Are elements of my WordPress blog-article (about MANDATORY COVID-19 VACCINATIONS) being CENSORED? It was successfully published a few days ago, but NOW when I try to edit it (and to update it), several ‘blocks’ (which included paragraphs of text, plus images and one video) have DISAPPEARED and have been REPLACED by rectangles in which the phrase ‘INVALID CONTENT’ appears.

    If CENSORSHIP is afoot, how can I get around it? Or is this simply an ‘editing algorithm’, and if so, how should I deal with it?

    wordpress.com doesn’t censor websites nor is there some big secret algorithm. Sometimes sites get suspended ue to a violation of the TOS or the user guidelines. From what you tell I guess you didn’t write your article in the normal online editor or you inserted some invalid code which got deleted by the editor. The HTML tags you can use are very limited on the Free Plan, https://wordpress.com/support/code/.
    I noticed you have very messy code which suggests you wrote your post using an eternal editor.

    Thanks for your above reply.

    Actually, I used WordPress’ ONLINE editor, so whatever “messy code” that you found, the online WordPress editing-system ITSELF must have put in. (Me, I know just a touch about HTML, but I basically used the “visual editor”, as I know zilch about coding!)

    And, by the way, and although you didn’t mention this, there was nothing unseemly offensive in my post — I had taken pains to NOT employ inflammatory concepts or unseemly references in the article — although, as I pointed out in my Disclaimer, elements of the overall topic may be controversial.

    But now, thanks the online editing-system again “invalidating” many blocks of texts and images & links, I’ve unpublished the piece and am seeking to find an OFFLINE WORDPRESS EDITING SYSTEM so that I can edit and publish the article PROPERLY. So, can you (or anyone) suggest a good OFFILINE WORDPRESS EDITING-SYSTEM — especially one that works in UBUNTU?

    Nothing is technically wrong with the article, neither in viewing or editing, for me.

    To be clear, we only “censor” sites that violate our terms of service, and we do that by taking the whole site offline. We never remove or alter individual posts or pages.

    What you’re describing sounds more like a missing font or whole character set on your computer.
