Is redirect functionality possible on WordPress.com?

  Hi there, I am thinking of switching over to WordPress.com but I need to be able to redirect certain URLs to others. For example, I need to be able to redirect http://nopugs.wordpress.com/why-externals to http://nopugs.wordpress.com/2008/09/04/why-externals/ Is there a way to do this on WordPress.com or is the only option to use WordPress.org and install some sort of redirect plugin?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There is no way to do a custom page by page redirect at WordPress.com.
