Is seach engine restricted for countries?

If I write my blog in Danish and I have tags both in Danish and English will my blog entry appear in the search engine for everyone in the world to see or just for Denmark alone? I tried searching for a tag in English, that I’ve used in a recent post, but I’m told that it can’t be found for my language.
Also – If I search for a tag, also used in a recent post, why is it not the recent posts that appear first, but posts that are from July?Hope someone can help me.

I’ve had made entries today or yesterday. If I search for the tags on WordPress in the searchbar older posts back from July appear and mine won’t even show. I’ve clicked on date or recent posts as well. Why is that? -
