Is there a way to get my domain back?
-
My domain for elliebohler.wordpress.com was elliebohler.com and I made the mistake of deleting my domain last night. Is there anyway to recover it?

Hi there,
We can still restore your domain, but you have already been refunded for it when you cancelled. Please go to My Site ->Plans and buy a new plan for your site, then let me know and I can restore your domain.
If you plan on using the domain somewhere else, if you’re willing to wait a few days the domain should be released by the middle of next week. Then you can register it directly where you want to use it.

ok, i see what you mean. I upgraded to the personal plan which is what I should have purchased yesterday. it comes with a free domain for one year. I am not using the domain anywhere else so I would like it on my wordpress please. Instead of elliebohler.wordpress.com, I would like like it to be elliebohler.com. Thank you so much for your help.

I’ve restored that domain to your account, and your site should already be appearing at it.
Let us know if you run into any other difficulty setting up your site :)

hi, for some reason http://www.elliebohler.com doesn’t work but elliebohler.com works? I’m a little confused. My readers are saying they can’t see the sight.

Hmm, it looks like the DNS record that handle that www redirect is missing on your domain, which is weird, because it’s a default record that exists for all domains on WordPress.com.
I’ve added it to your domain now manually, but it will need a few hours for the update to complete. If the www version of your domain still doesn’t work tomorrow, even after clearing your browser cache, please let us know.
