Is there a way to get my post that got lost somehow back?

My username is fivedragonsfivecastles. I just started my account to blog about the book I’m writing. I made the account, then when it told me to make my first post, I did that right away, but when I went to save it, it told me to activate my account through email. When I activated it, the post was gone and was replaced by a draft with only two words. Is there any way to recover my post? I just feel like I lost all the impetus I gained from starting this blog since I lost my first post right away.
