is there any way to make my subheadings show up better???

  Here is my site, [https://deafwomeninhistory.wordpress.com/] a customized version of the Rusty Grunge theme…is there any way to make my subheadings show up better??? (home, Deaf Women Adventurers/Athletes, Deaf Women Advocates…etc..most complete right now is Deaf Women in Education)…any other feedback…?

  Some suggestions:

  1. Use a solid dark-colored background
  2. Use a solid light-colored background, and use CSS customization to change the menu text to black, or some similarly dark color (or switch to a different theme that has black text).

  3. Use a theme that has a slide-out or drop-down menu opened with an icon, which displays the menu items in a well-contrasted text/background combination.
