Is there no way to upload file types other than the picture/audio/video?
-
I am writing a blog to go along with a computer textbook. I’d like to provide various types of files that readers can download to help them work on exercises from the book, such as source code to get them started on projects. But even after purchasing the $99 pro upgrade, it seems that I can’t do this. Is there really a strict policy that only lets my users download pictures/audio/video? If so, I think I’ll be undoing my $99 upgrade, since it doesn’t get me what I want.

Hi there – what file format are you looking to upload? Many ebooks are provided as a PDF, which is a format we allow.
A full list of formats that can be uploaded is here:
-
Source code files, ending in extensions .inc and .pov, for the open-source software POV-Ray.

Hi there – for security reasons, files with those extensions wouldn’t be allowed, but since you have the space upgrade, you could zip them and upload them that way. Would that work for you?
