is this possible with wordpress?

For my starting company, I want a website with the following features:
– public site, assessable for everybody, with information, pictures and probably some movies.
– private site: we give training to companies. We want to assign the individuals who follow a training an username and temporarily password (which they can change themselves) and give them access to a specific part of the website (a dedicated part for their company and their group). So we will eventually have different dedicated parts for different companies, where individuals can find the information and assignments of the training.
Is it possible with wordpress to make such a dedicated part?
