Is WordPress down?

  • Unknown's avatar

    I have zero access to my WordPress dashboard. I can’t create content or manage it. I get the error: “Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection
    wp-admin” but it says Jetpack is up to date.

    I tried chatting via my iPhone app (I can’t even access the contact page on my laptop) and I’m getting no response.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I have exactly the same problem! I haven’t been able to load anything! Not stats, not notifications, nothing. I can’t even get the live chat to work. Is WordPress dying? Do I need to migrate to another platform? But, if I just type in my domain (mombythesea.com) all of that loads.

    What’s the deal? I can’t even log in to talk to people to figure out what’s going on.

    Same or similar here http://www.lielsunmazs.lv
    I can access my blog as a reader, everything is showing, but dashboard isn’t working! There is red warning with exclamation mark next to blog title, and it says: “This site cannot be accessed. Remove Site”
    However i can access stats.
    Dashboard also doesn’t work on WP app.

    Still haven’t gotten any response from WordPress via chat on my iPhone app (I’m not even sure if my questions are going through), via this forum, or email. :(

    Has anyone had this issue and had it resolved?

    Could someone on staff at WordPress please get in touch with me?

    I’m having a problem with my website, not able to contact anyone for help. I’m blocked from loading any media to my site.
    HELP!!!!

  • Hi there,

    @hkdimmitt
    ,

    Where exactly are you seeing these errors? I see no Jetpack errors for your site, and can access both the My Site and the WP-Admin dashboards without any problems.

    If this is specifically in the app, please try force-quitting the app, and then restarting your iPhone before relaunching the app.

    If it’s in your browser, please try clearing the browser cache and make sure your browser allows JavaScript. If you’re using any ad-blocker or anti-tracking add-ons in your browser, also try disabling those to see if it makes any difference:

    Solve Common Browser Issues

    You submitted tickets to our mobile app support team. That is not live chat, but it creates an email ticket that goes into our mobile app queue, not the Business Plan support queue. That support channel is primarily to help with the app itself, not with your site. I’ve closed those tickets as I’m helping you here now.

    To start a live chat, log into WordPress.com in a web browser, and go to https://wordpress.com/help/contact or click the Help icon that appears bottom-right on all the My Site pages.

    and @lwoloshin please do not post into threads created by other users. When you do that none of the information from your account that we need to help you is included, on top of which you make it harder for us to help the person who actually created the thread.

    Please try the browser troubleshooting steps I mentioned above, and if that doesn’t help you can open your own support requests at https://wordpress.com/help/contact

    @gmaija
    , your site is not hosted on WordPress.com. For help with the Jetpack connection on your site, please contact Jetpack support at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support

    Hi Kokkieh,

    Thank you for the response. I’ve cleared my cache (I can access the app but not the “My Site” or Reader on desktop) and restarted my laptop and still got the error. I gave it some time and it’s now appearing to work. The chat form, which wouldn’t appear before, now also works.

    Thank you!

  • Glad you’ve got it!

    @lwoloshin
    if you need help still, can you start another thread? Add the “modlook” tag for staff attention.
