Issue on deleting magiadellemamme.com domain

    Hi, last saturday morning 29th Oct I removed my own existing domain magiadellemamme.com from wordpress.com. I did it as I’m building a new web site and I wanted to maintain the same domain. So, working on bluehost.com and creating my new web site I got some issue configuring wordpress on it. I was (and actually I’m not too) not able to access to my new domain magiadellemamme.com as unknown from the network. Seems that the domain is not reachable. Contacting the bluehost support, they provided me the real ip address to help me to proceed with the installation and configuration. They said me the probably something did’t work fine on the deletion of the domain. Please, could you help me and point magiadellemamme.com to ns1.bluehost.com and ns2.bluehost.com domains or even deleting the old domain name resolution info? I will be really grateful for your help.     Hey there,

    If you’re wanting to transfer your domain to Bluehost, you should never cancel it at your current host because once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it. Also, it usually takes a few weeks for your domain registration to clear and become available once you cancel it. There isn’t an exact time, however, so you’ll be checking consistently to see when it becomes available.

    If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site

    I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore the domain back to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back.
