Issue with Adding User

    Hello. The Administrator for the site is having difficulty adding users to the existing site. We try to follow the steps given through your Support site, but, instead of the ‘+Invite’, we see an ‘add existing’, which doesn’t permit us to add newcomers to make edits. Please let us know what steps we need to take in order to allow more users into our site.

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) and is hosted elsewhere.

    Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com.

    You can reach out to your host for help with your site. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and could also be able to help you here.
