Issue with installing WordPress locally using serverpress

    Hi, Im a new user and would like to use WordPress locally so I can learn at my own pace. I’m in the process of installing it locally using “desktop server”. I’m currently using a MacBook running on OS X. After confirming the configuration in “desktop server” I don’t get the final “Wordpress” setup screen after clicking on the site link. I’ve tried removing and reinstalling and no luck. Sorry if I’m not getting the terms correct…any ideas work help!

    To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
