Issue with login and mapping of site.
-
Hi There, i am hoping you can help me untangle a problem… I purchased a domain for the above site. i believe i connected it to the email (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I verified the account and when I tried to login, it said that it didn’t register the account. I got muddled and ended up setting up a different wordpress with this email. Long story short, i have bought a domain but now i cannot log in to set up the website! i am wondering if you can help me?! Thanks, Donnafrom: WordPress.com

Hi there!
I can see that the domain is indeed registered with us on a different WordPress.com account. You will need to use the correct email address you used on the account to reset the password. It’s not the email address you entered above.
Please go to https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and enter the email address you used originally to create the other account. A password reset link will be emailed to you that you can click to change the password of your account. Afterwards, you can use the new password to log into your WordPress.com account.
In case you don’t remember which email address you used, we’ll be happy to help you via email to get back into the correct account. For this, please locate the transaction ID for your payment to WordPress.com. The transaction ID can be located in your credit card statement.
Once you have it, please send it to us using the account recovery form here. Do not post the transaction ID on this forum. We’ll get back to you via email after you’ve submitted the account recovery form.
Regards
