Issue With Payment for VideoPress Upgrade

    Video Press Update,

    My name is Godwin Noah from Browser Based Network Ltd, Nigeria.
    We operate the blog at the blog URL below.

    Since last week I’ve been trying to make a $60 payment for the VideoPress upgrade of our blog. Below is the report WordPress shopping cart throws:

    “10746: This transaction cannot be processed. Please use a valid country on the billing address.”

    I believe this is because the transaction is coming from Nigeria. Please let me know if there is an alternative to this bearing in mind that Paypal does not support Nigerian cards. I need the upgrade effected within the shortest possible time.

    Hi Noah,

    Currently, we accept payment only via Paypal. We’re limited to the locals that Paypal supports. Unfortunately, as you’ve noticed, Nigeria is not a supported country at this time.

    Your best bet will be to try to obtain an international credit card (or perhaps some sort of Visa or MasterCard-backed giftcard) to use for this transaction, or to find someone with support card to make the purchase for you.
