issues updating domain name contact info

I’m trying to update the contact info for our domain name registration (email address) and keeps giving me an error ‘Unable to update WHOIS detail’? The current registered email doesn’t exist any more, so I can’t verify any emails sent to it. Appreciate any assistance.

Hm, sorry about that! I have asked our developer what email address it would have been sent from, and we’ll let you know as soon as we hear back.

Please check your inbox or spam folder for anything from that.

Did not receive anything. Gave it 24 hours, just checked again now and nothing. Can you confirm the email it’s going to?

The email would go to the address listed in your domain contact info at My Site ->Manage ->Domains ->Contact information.
But I now see an error on the domain that makes me think the email might be getting sent to the wrong address. I’ve updated our developer with the new info and will let you know as soon as he’s had a chance to look into it.

Sorry about the delay on this.
The problem here is that when
asleemantransferred ownership of the domain to you, the transfer didn’t update correctly on our domain provider’s end, so our domain provider still sees them as the owner and won’t let another account update the contact info.We’re working to get this sorted out, but it’s taking a bit longer than usual. A developer was working on this yesterday, and I’ve asked them for an update. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear from them.

I am having this same exact issue, need this resolved ASAP. Our current registered email no longer exists, but we are not receiving any verification links at ANY other emails, no not even in spam!
We are locked out of site editing, and our email that runs on this domain is not receiving messages.

Please let us know if you still don’t receive the verification emails after doing that.
