Issues with the Writing Page
-
When I log into my blog and click ‘write’ the format of the page looks like code rather than what the typical website looks like. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi, on the options on the right, do you have Exit Code Editor? If not, please get a screenshot and upload it to your media library, then update us here.
-
Hi. I did not see that option. I added a screenshot to my page. Please let me know if you need to see anything else.

Hi there,
I see what you are referring to. Have you tried logging in using a different browser or clearing your browser’s cache to see if you encounter the same issue?
-
Hi! I cleared my cache, and it still is not working. I also logged into a different browser and it is showing the same thing. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi there,
Where did you add that screen shot of your editor? The only one I see in your media library is https://lessonsof20somethinghome.files.wordpress.com/2020/04/screen-shot-2020-04-21-at-12.25.36-pm.png, of this forum thread.
What you see there is the forums loading without any of the CSS styling being applied, which points to a problem with your connection – your browser (or rather computer, as you’re seeing this in multiple browsers) is not connecting to the server from where it should be loading our CSS files.
If possible, check if it loads properly over a different internet connection. If another internet connection works, then it confirms the problem is with your regular connection. Try rebooting your routed and clearing your computer’s DNS cache.
If that also doesn’t work, you’ll need to contact your ISP to find out of they might be blocking or restricting access to any of our servers. A few weeks ago we found out a ISP in Spain was completely blocking access to WordPress.com in order to free up bandwidth for streaming due to people stuck at home because of quarantine. It’s possible your ISP might be doing something similar.
