It appears that I had a hacker during the night. Someone actually gained access to my WordPress account. I have no idea how to go about fixing this other than changing my password which I immediately did, but I am furious and I have no idea how this could happen and I want answers.

  You can help me figure out how to contact an actual WordPress person since finding contacts on this site is nearly impossible. I’ve had a really hard time building my site and most of it has been through trial and error. I’ve had zero help and support from this crew. And now this? I’m pretty mad.

  I see this thread has been tagged to ask a member of staff to reply to you. Was it this particular WordPress.com account that was compromised? What is the address of your site? As well as changing your password you might wish to consider this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/

  I checked your site and based off the activity over the last few weeks there looks like there was some trouble accessing your account which makes it appear that there may have been a hacking attempt. It looks like while trying to retrieve access to your account, you were removed as admin from tdbabcock.com. Is that an action that you made?

  Either way, I see that you updated your password. I would also encourage you to set up two step authentication for the extra layer of security:
