It does not direct to the homepage

Upon entering the website, it does not automatically direct to the homepage of the website. However, it goes to a certain page which says the following:
“Nothing Found
Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.”My question is, how to solve this?
