It is too late to recover old posts?

I feel like this is a long shot, but I’ve got to try. I let me domain expire recently and, like an idiot, I didn’t save any of the posts I had written from my blog. There are several posts that I would love to try and recover but I am afraid it is too late. Is it possible that content from this blog is still available or that it can be retrieved? Please help!

Hello there, Letting a custom domain expire on WordPressdotcom only means that the site address will revert to its original underlying mysite.wordpress.com All the content will still be there. If the site is meredithdunn.wordpress.com I can see lots of content on that site
However, if you are referring to a site that you deleted, you need to request to have the deletion reversed within 30 days of deletion.
Let us know if you are referring to meredithdunn.wordpress.com or a different site.

Thanks so much for your quick response. I’m actually referring to another site. I used to have a blog, hosted by Blue Host, through wordpress and that’s he URL that I let expire. So, if the URL is no longer mine, is it too late to recover the content of those posts through WordPress? I’m guessing yes if it’s been a year, right?

I’m afraid that’s not something we would be able to help you with here on WordPressdotcom since your site wasn’t hosted on our servers. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Have you tried contacting BlueHost for help with your old WordPress(org) site? Did you keep backups or have a backup service, like VaultPress, installed on it?
Just in terms of being able to recover some posts, you could try plugging your old site address into the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine https://archive.org/web/ and perhaps you’ll be able to find them there.
