It will not let me delete the site and transfer the domain name.

    I am trying to delete my WordPress site and move my site to Wix instead. I want to keep the domain name of annapfefferkorn.com and I had the transfer code sent to my email. However, the site is not letting me delete it. It says I can’t delete it because I need to get to the domain manager. The link does not work. I thought that I did what needed to be done by unlocking the domain and securing the transfer code. Please advise.

    I would take this in two steps.

    1. Get the domain completely transferred away.

    &

    2. Then delete the site.

    You can set your WordPress.com site to be “private” if you want to block people from viewing while you go through the process.

    Once you have the domain completely transferred, let me know and I can help you delete the site if you have trouble.
