The site will not allow me to delete my account. When I click “Close Your Account Permanently”, there is an error message that says “Sorry, there was a problem closing your account. Please contact support.”

Someone has changed my username and I cannot change it back.

Someone just can’t change your username unless they have full access to your wordpress?com account (which is only a few days old) and your email! Wait for a Staff member to clarify this situation.

Well someone did change my user name. I have no idea how. And now I can’t seem to change it. I don’t know who this person is. I have had this account since 2014.

Not sure how this happened, but I think that someone hijacked my email address to set up their own WordPress account (username @jenaabbott) I managed to delete the @jenaabbott account that was using my email address. I am posting from another WordPress account owned by me.
