I've found a troll on my 'search engine terms'?
-
Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I don’t want to have to close my blog down, but it’s starting to annoy me a little. Do I really just have to sit back and take the abuse? Or can it be reported? I’m absolutely confused where or who I need to speak to. I can tell it’s just 1 kid who’s clearly bored with his time, due to the frequency of the ‘postings’, if you will.
Any advice is good advice, thanks!

The Troll has won – you answered them on your blog
Set all your comments to require moderate – you can blacklist their names or email and send them directly to the spam bucket – do not approve any Troll comments – do not answer any – take down your front page answer to them – ignore them – it drives them crazy
Dashboard >> Settings >> Discussions >> Before a comment appears >> An administrator must always approve the comment

It’s not through my comments at all. Like I said, it’s through my dashboard on my ‘Search Engine Terms’ (can be found on the first page of dashboard).
All my comments require moderation anyway, but I’m pretty sure telling someone to go die isn’t coming from someone of sane mind? (My search results annoy me, yes, but I can deal with it if I have to).
Just wondered if anything could be done about those sorts of things?
Wish I could upload a picture so you could see what I mean :)
Thank you for your help though, at least you’ve tried!

You can disable the search engine terms display on your site – at the right hand top of the page there is a “screen options” tab – click on it and open up the screen options and un-check “search engine terms” – the info will still be tabulated but you won’t need to look at the search engine terms used to find your site.
There is no filter I am aware of –
Hope this helps a bit.
