JavaScript Issue

  I’m using a free site and the Hexa theme. I also use the NoScript web browser extension. Today I noticed that my fonts and site widgets (ex search, menu) are no longer working.

  I’m writing to give the infrastructure team a heads-up that there might be some problem serving those assets.

  I’ve not been able to address the issue on my end. Blogs with other themes don’t appear to have a problem.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I was able to make some progress.

  If I enable these four domains in the NoScript options:

  wordpress.com
  gravatar.com
  gstatic.com
  wp.com

  and clear my cookies and cache then my blog menus and widgets will work correctly on the next visit. If I visit my blog again, the menus and widgets stop working.

  If I disable NoScript and reload the page, the blog works normally.

  Hi there,

  We don’t recommend using such extensions when visiting WordPress.com sites. Those extensions block several Javascript elements that our themes rely on to be properly displayed.

  I suggest completely disabling that extension when working on your WordPress.com site.
