  I had to create a new wordpress.com account to update jetpack on my wordpress.org site. Now I fear my website is active on wordpress.com as well as .org I don’t know what to do

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The email I had associated with jetpack is no longer functioning.

  Good morning –

  Jetpack is a product of Automattic, just like WordPress.com is. They are connected on some levels. You need a WordPress.com account for your Jetpack powered site to be discoverable in our Reader, for example.

  harprose.com is hosted by BlueHost and it is not using the managed hosting environment of WordPress.com.

  Thank you for this reassurance! When I confirmed my wordpress.com account it brought up my admin page for harprose and there was a congratulations banner with messaging to suggest I had just started a new website. It was alarming. I am very relieved. Thank you!
