Jetpack can't connect to wordpress.com after 3.5 update!
-
Hi, after updating to wordpress 3.5, my Jetpack stats wouldn’t display. So I deactivated Jetpack, hoping that reactivating it would somehow help. But now after reactivating it, when it asks me to connect to wordpress, it fails with this error: “Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: token_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. name lookup timed out”. I tried all the steps listed on the Troubleshooting page: disabling plugins, switching to the default theme, and checking the XMLRPC file. The first two do not fix the problem, and for the 3rd I get the correct “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.” I also checked the Known Issues list. Help please!!

I just checked my settings at wordpress.com and noticed that my primary blog and my web address were different. Fixed that, and jetpack is working now!
