Jetpack follow
-
Hello. I have been using Jetpack for a couple of months, and it is great, but have recently downloaded the follow add-on for Jetpack, which I am not sure is working correctly. There doesn’t appear to be any settings options for it, and I cant see any way of adding the number of subscribers to the button exactly like you have in your example. I have the existing email subscription widget working fine, and that shows the number of subs, but no option to apply that for the follow button – is it not the same thing? Any help appreciated Thanks

There shouldn’t be a need to download something extra for Follow in Jetpack, it’s already built-in.
Please make sure that you’re running the latest version of Jetpack, then you can control the Follow module from the Jetpack section of your blog’s Dashboard.

Thanks for coming back so quickly, I am not sure I have explained myself correctly. The plugin I downloaded was called follow button for jetpack, it has enabled me to have the little follow pop up button in the bottom right of my blog. This follow button is nto part of the standard jetpack.
Now I have this button, I cannot configure it (as far as I can see) – I dont have a follow module in jetpack – only the subscriptions module (which allows the subscriptions widget to added – this is working fine)
I have tested the new follow button, and it seems to be functioning OK, I just dont know how switch on the number of subscribers on it -
Hello again! I have been on the site fo the chap who developed it, and I actually think that the feature I want isn’t available yet, it is really only a cosmetic thing, so no big problem so no need to come back to me on this – many thanks
