Jetpack Spamming me with hundreds of emails a day…

    please can Jetpack be disabled for https://glowcompetitons.com

    I’ve got to say this whole process has been so clunky… having to create an account which took 48 hours, then having to create a post on a forum… in the meantime I’ve received probably over 300+ emails in the last few days… can this be sorted asap please!? Thanks

    I disconnected the Jetpack connection from your self-hosted site at glowcompetitions.com.

    I’d love to understand what kind of emails you were receiving. Would you mind sending us a screenshot of the emails? Make sure to hide any personal information before sharing a screenshot in reply to this thread.

    I can’t find a way of uploading a screenshot to here but the title was “Alert: Glow Competitions appears to be offline or unresponsive”

    the website domain hasn’t been renewed so for some reason jetpack was detecting it as down every 30 minutes or so. Just last night I received 18 emails about it.

    thanks again for sorting that. Hopefully I won’t receive anymore

    That makes sense. Our uptime monitoring system detected the site was unreachable, so it fired those emails. Apologies for the inconvenience. You shouldn’t receive any further emails regarding this site.
