Jetpack won't connect to wordpress

  Hello there,
  I installed Jetpack and now the banner saying to connect it to wordpress is on the dashboard… but when I click the button, it just routes me to buddypress’s ‘register’ page (which I’m not using, so it then just sends me to my blogs homepage: http://www.motivespace.org).

  I previously had the WordPress Stats plugin installed, and so I got successfully got an API from wordpress.com. Is there another way to manually connect it, or do you know why the automatic one might not be working?

  I have read through the forums but can’t seem to find a problem quite like this. Thanks for any ideas you might have!

  Could you try and disable all other plugins and reactivate Jetpack. This way we can see if other plugins interfere with Jetpack.

  Also make sure you are running the latest WordPress and Jetpack version.

  Thanks a lot, that totally worked!
  I was running the latest versions but some plugin must have been interferring.
