  A few days ago, my views per visitor more or less doubled. I did not make any changes that would have brought this about. Has there been a change in the way views are tracked?

  The stats may increase/decrease based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, posts becoming popular on social media, increased ranking on search engine result pages, etc.
