.jpeg upload disappears from page after upload.

  I uploaded a .jpeg which is recorded, which I saw on the page, and saw in the data, but now it’s gone from the page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  2) which image you tried to add?

  What I am trying to do couldn’t be simpler, but…
  I have a book I’m trying to publicize. I want to place an image of the book cover on the 1st page, preferably on the left side. Then on the right, text. Either a block of text, scrolling, whatever. Not a background, not a header nor footer. All these widgets are fine in addition to the above, but I cannot find the path to the simple page structure described above.
